The Coalescence Dress

Coalescence reflects my journey of self-realization through change, surrender, and integration, inspired by the shifting symmetry of kaleidoscopes. Using traditional and Itajime Shibori resist dyeing, I transformed hand-dyed cotton handkerchiefs into individual diamond forms, each carrying its own variation. These fragments were assembled into a unified whole, mirroring how layered experiences come together to shape identity.
